Description of Object:
Part of a wooden object with two holes and a peg and rope fitting together with two mortar lumps with horse hair embedded in them. Very well preserved.
Discussion:
There is no identification of the use of the object nor is the date known; it could be associated with the salt or textile industries. The holes are 6cm apart.
